Comments: Fast and Efficient Response: I contacted R-3 Tree in a panic, and they were incredibly responsive. An arborist came out the same day to assess the situation. He was knowledgeable and explained the risks clearly. They provided a quick quote and were able to get on the job fast, which was crucial given the danger posed by the trees.

Comments: I started off really liking the owner however that changed once it came to business. The did a good job removing my trees but once the supervisor got there things went downhill. He seemed to push the workers to quickly finish and left a lot of damage. I definitely would not recommend him. I was promised that my yard would look the same once they finished but that did not happen. They damaged much of the decorative red lazy rocks in the back yard. They also damaged my lawn in the front of the house and was told to put some seeds down and it will grow back. I now have two large tractor tracks through my yard that will need to be sodded. Never use a contractor that asks for payment before the job is done so they can pay their workers. This is exactly what this company requested. Because I owed them money I was able to get them to complete what they had promised to complete. When I asked if they were going to move the things back where they weee on the backyard I was told that they don’t do that. Only after my complaining did they return the furniture and items back to their original location. I think they over promised and under performed.

Comments: This guy begged us to come cut down two trees in my yard. When they got the job they asked to cut the 3rd tree down and do the fence line. We agreed. He was asking for money before he even finished with the job. So what ppl on here are saying is true he does ask for money upfront to pay his workers according to what he told me. He never finished the job I still have a bush that was connected to the tree in the middle of my front yard. My yard was also destroyed in the process tire marks everywhere promised to come back and fix it. All that needed to be done was smooth the dirt out. now he is ducking calls. If you want it done right and in a professional way. This is not The route to go. Bad business all around the board. This is current as of 2/22

Comments: This is the worst tree removal company I’ve ever seen, my husband asked them to cutdown a tree in our yard after seeing them remove several trees from our neighbors house. Sure they cutdown the tree took our $2,500 and ran, never came back to remove the debris, I called would not answer, I emailed, got promises they would come, never showed up. Now I’m getting my attorney involved, this will be the last customer you rip off.

Comments: ‘ALERT’ Do not use these guy. These guys are con and scammers. They will take your upfront or deposited money, and do half the work and leave. We agreed on $22,000 jobs. I paid them $12,000 after they did some work then they stop showing up. If you look at all their reviews, it’s all BAD for a reason. Again if they give you a good price, DON’T give them any money upfront until the jobs are done!

Comments: Paid $3900 to have two trees cut down in my front yard. The trees were cut down and removed in a timely fashion. However, my front yard was destroyed (by the Bobcat) in the process . In addition the Bobcat was left in front of my house from Thursday to Sunday! My permission was not asked for nor did I give it! Unfortunately, I paid $3900 to have the trees cut down/removed, to be terribly inconvenienced and to have my front yard destroyed, I have not been even OFFERED a partial refund! This guy is unprofessional and simply focused on making money. However, business is about providing services with integrity! It's NOT about money!

Comments: This guy called me from the information he got off of an online inquiry I made online for some tree work I needed done. First call he said he’d have to call me back because he “just remembered “ he had to get his brakes done and he’d call me back to schedule a time to come by for an estimate. Next call he needed to look up my address on GPS to let me know how long it would take to get to my location. I waited.... no reply back as to how long. I texted him... he called back about an hour later ( I had already left) with another excuse, this time it was his nephew’s fault for the no show. And he would come out in about 45 mins to check it out. Still never showed up. THIS IS A VERY UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS. I would not use them for anything.

Comments: Compared with several quotes. R-3 Tree was more acceptable. Came and cut two trees and trimmed another less then 2 hours. Due to being Sunday, the dump site was closed, They came next day to removed all the debris to the street, and clean up the areas . Great job. Thank you!

Comments: Many times post on sites are only when people aren't satisfied. However we were extremely pleased with this company. When initially contacted by a company, they discovered a dead tree in the yard that needed removal as it posed danger to our home. In addition, there were 2 other trees that needed to be removed. The quote was well over $5K!! So, we looked into other options. Eventually we contacted R-3 and their quote was a little over $3K. Of course we were concerned especially with the reviews on this site. However, we made the terms of the contract clear and received a written proposal. This company did an awesome job! Very punctual, professional, and polite. Trees were removed, yard cleaned up, and the county picked up the pieces as promised. So, I just want to thank you for your work; and, as we prepare to move into our new home, we hope to use your services again!

Comments: He initially quoted me a price that was about the same as another company and when I told him I'd go with the other company he dropped his price to cut down and dispose of some troublesome branches. I begged him not to short change himself but he insisted it was fine. His crew cut down they branches and disposed of only about half of it. After calling them several times to see when someone would be back to pick up the rest of the debris they stopped answering my calls and never finished the job they were paid to do. After two weeks of trying to reach them, to still no response, I had to pay someone else to finish their job. I'd advise anyone to stay away from this company. They are not worth the hassle.
